Audio House (SOS Productions, LLC, “we,” “us”) runs private recording studios and the Audio House app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Who we are

What we collect
- Account: first and last name, username, email, phone number, password (stored encrypted), and a profile photo if you add one.
- Age: we collect your birthdate and use it to confirm you’re old enough to use Audio House. We don’t collect gender.
- Your recordings and uploads: audio you record, and files (like beats) you add to your Audio Library.
- Bookings and usage: sessions you book, credits, and how you use the service.
- Notifications: if you turn them on, a device token so we can send app notifications.
- Messages: support messages and tickets, and comments you leave for collaborators.
- Payments: when you buy time, credits, gift cards, or beats, our payment processors (Stripe, PayPal/Venmo) handle your card details. We receive confirmation and basic order info. We do not store full card numbers.
- Location (only when you turn on a feature that needs it): some optional features use your device location, such as finding the nearest studio or tapping your phone to unlock the door. We only collect location while you use those features, and they aren’t required.
- Security footage: for safety, our studios have cameras that record activity in and around the studio (see our Rental Terms).
- Website and device data: see Cookies, Analytics & Advertising below.
How we use it
To create and run your account; book and manage sessions; unlock studio doors; store and let you share your recordings; answer your questions; send you service messages; send marketing only if you opted in, using your booking activity with us (such as which studios you book and when you last recorded) to choose what to send and when; keep the studios and people safe; prevent fraud and abuse; and meet legal obligations.
AI
Our customer-support assistant uses Anthropic’s Claude through Anthropic’s API to read and respond to your support messages. We also review and analyze support conversations, including with Claude, to improve the assistant’s accuracy and quality. Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. It does not process your recordings.
Who we share it with
We share data only as needed to run Audio House, with providers bound to protect it: Supabase (account database), Wasabi (recording storage), Vercel (hosting), Stripe and PayPal/Venmo (payments), Quo (text and calls), Postmark and Google Workspace (email), Kisi (door access), OneSignal (notifications), Ubiquiti/UniFi and Wyze (security cameras), Railway and Anthropic (support assistant), and Google, Meta, Snapchat, and TikTok (analytics and advertising). We also share information when required by law, or with law enforcement or our studio Hosts only on a formal request. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Cookies, Analytics & Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for three things: essential site function; analytics (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) to understand usage; and advertising (Meta, Google Ads, Snapchat, TikTok) to measure and show relevant ads. Non-essential cookies load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choices anytime and use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Information” control. We do not use advertising cookies to target people we know are minors, and we set our ad audiences to adults where the platform allows. See our Cookie Notice for details.
Your choices and rights
You can access, correct, download, or delete your information, and opt out of marketing, by emailing privacy@audiohouse.fm. If you opt in, marketing may reach you by email or text message; you can opt out of marketing texts anytime by replying STOP, opt out of marketing emails via the unsubscribe link in any message, or contact us at privacy@audiohouse.fm. We’ll respond within 30 days. California residents may know, delete, and correct their information, and opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising. For users under 16, we treat ad-sharing as off unless you opt in.
Children and teens
Audio House is for ages 13 and up. We collect a birthdate at signup to enforce this and do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account; if we learn of a under-13 account, we delete it. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to our Terms for you. Students who use Audio House through a partner school do so on their own accounts; we handle their data under this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep a record of marketing messages we send you (date, channel, and content) so we can honor your preferences and limit how often we contact you. You can delete your account anytime in Settings. When you do, we delete your information and recordings right away, and keep past receipts for tax records with your details removed. Copies may remain in routine backups for up to 90 days, then they’re gone. Security footage is kept up to 30 days.
Where your data is stored
In the United States.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is perfectly secure. Keep your password private.
