Rental Terms and Conditions

Last updated: Pending launch

Renting an Audio House studio gives you private access to professional gear, a treated room, and software to create your recording. To keep things safe, clean, and fair for everyone, you agree to the following before you record.

Respect our Hosts

Audio House studios are placed at Host sites: schools and businesses that share their location with us. Several of our studios sit on school grounds. Wherever your studio is:

  • Go directly to the Audio House studio after parking. Don’t enter or linger near the Host’s buildings, fields, or other areas.
  • Take your belongings and trash with you.
  • No alcohol, cigarettes, vaping, or illegal drugs on the property.
  • No pets or animals in or around the studio.

Cameras and security

For safety and security, Audio House records footage and images in and around the studio. You consent to this footage being captured and used for security purposes only, not for marketing, sales, or revenue. Footage is kept up to 30 days, accessible to approved staff only, and shared only on a formal request (for example, from law enforcement or a Host).

Take care of the equipment

You’re responsible for the equipment during your booked time. If footage or other reasonable proof shows you damaged equipment, Audio House may charge you up to the current replacement price (MSRP) of the item. We’ll provide proof of purchase and won’t charge more than the cost of replacement.

Studio access

You unlock the studio from your phone (some locations also provide an access code). We keep an entry log for security. Keep your access private and don’t share it. If studio use or items are stolen or damaged while your access was active, or right after, because the door was left unlocked or open, Audio House may charge you up to the replacement price of what’s taken or broken (same proof rule as above).

Lock up when you leave

Make sure the door is fully closed and locked when you leave.

Your guests

You’re responsible for anyone you bring with you. Keep your group to a reasonable size (we recommend no more than 4, for space and sound). The account holder is responsible for guests’ conduct and for any damage they cause.

Minors, assumption of risk, and release

Audio House is for ages 13 and up. If you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must read and agree to these Rental Terms and our Terms of Use for you, and accepts these risks on your behalf.

You use the studio, equipment, and premises at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you (and, for a minor, your parent or guardian) release and agree not to sue Audio House (SOS Productions, LLC), its Hosts, and their staff for claims of injury, loss, or damage arising from use of the studio or premises, except for harm caused by our own gross negligence or willful misconduct. Nothing here limits any right that cannot be waived under Utah law.
