Terms of Use

Last updated: Pending launch

These Terms are an agreement between you and SOS Productions, LLC, doing business as Audio House (“Audio House,” “we”). By creating an account, booking a studio, or using our app or website, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Audio House.

1. Who can use Audio House

You must be at least 13. If you’re under 18, your parent or guardian must read and agree to these Terms for you. By letting you use Audio House, they accept these Terms and the Rental Terms on your behalf, including the assumption of risk and liability sections.

2. Your account

Keep your login and any studio access code private. You’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect misuse.

3. What we provide

Private, self-serve recording studios you book online and unlock from your phone; our Audio House recording app, which guides recording and polishes your sound; an Audio Library where you can upload your own beats and audio; and a marketplace of beats you can license.

4. Prices, credits, and payment

Studio time starts at $20/hour, with the per-hour price dropping the more hours you buy. We also offer hour packs. Hours and credits you buy do not expire; use them across as many sessions as you like. Sales tax is added where required. Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal/Venmo, and you authorize us (through them) to charge your selected method.

5. Cancellations and refunds

Sessions can’t be refunded within 24 hours of the start time. As a courtesy, we often return booked time as credit when you cancel, even late. This is a goodwill practice, not a right, and we may stop offering it to anyone who abuses it (for example, repeatedly booking and cancelling to bank credit). Purchased credits and gift cards don’t expire and have no fees.

6. Your content and rights

You own what you create. You keep all rights to your recordings, uploads, and the content you make at Audio House. You give Audio House a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and display your content only as needed to operate the service and let you access and share your own work. We will not use your recordings, name, image, or voice for marketing or advertising without your separate, explicit opt-in. You’re responsible for having the rights to anything you upload.

7. Beats

Beats you license from Audio House are governed by our Beat Licensing Terms.

8. Studio rules

Using a studio is also subject to our Rental Terms, which are part of these Terms.

9. Acceptable use

Don’t break the law, harm others, damage equipment, share access, or misuse the studios, app, or website. We can suspend or close accounts that do.

10. Assumption of risk and disclaimers

You use the studios and equipment at your own risk. Audio House is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. If you are a minor, your parent or guardian assumes these risks on your behalf.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Audio House’s total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. We’re not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to cover Audio House for claims arising from your use of the service or your content, to the extent allowed by law.

13. Disputes — arbitration and class-action waiver

Most disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court, and not as a class action. Two exceptions: either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court; and you may opt out of arbitration within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing privacy@audiohouse.fm. Opting out doesn’t affect the rest of these Terms.

14. Governing law

Utah law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

15. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post changes here. Questions: privacy@audiohouse.fm.
